2. SECTORS OF THE BUSINESS TRENDS LIBRARY

Each Area is made up of a number of Sectors - each a fundamental activity of man with a long history. The above links show an Area's Sectors.

Historical Analysis identifies long term trends in each Sector. Interaction of these trends within different Sectors of the Library is the key to future Scenarios ( Dr Richard Whaley, Futures 16 p269-76, June 1985). The pattern of such Impacts of major trends between the ten Areas is shown below.
